The Tourist information office of Mijas is located in the center of the old town of Mijas Pueblo. A smaller division of the Tourist office, can be found in the town hall (Ayuntamiento) of La Cala.
In the Tourist office, they offer you plenty of leaflets of the main attractions of Mijas and surroundings. It has a touch screen information desk and of course several agents to help you with your specific questions. The agents all speak several languages and all do speak English.


Do ask for the guide for your walking tour of the village of Mijas Pueblo. This information leaflet in more then 6 languages guides you through a walk around town, passing by all the monuments and places of interest. Any other tourist information can be obtained here.

The little tagcards at the entrance are very usefull. There is not so much information on it, but they offer you discounts (from 1 to 5€ per person)on your entrance fee.

The Tourist office of Mijas also organize guided hiking tours in the mountains and surroundings every Saturday morning. (Only from October to May). This free walking tour is a great way to explore the beauty and nature of Mijas Sierra.
