Description

The museum of miniatures of Mijas is located in Max's Wagon. This museum was opened in 1972 and is a private collection from Professor Max. During his business trips he collected this small objects. In 1992 the wagon was renovated and is much more functional nowadays for the exhibition of 360 items.

The items are often accompanied by a magnifier to facilitate viewing as you can image. The miniatures in Mijas contain amongst others a ballet dancer carved from a toothpick, naval battle in the head of a pin, The Last Supper of Leonardo da Vinci on a grain of rice, etc.

Open daily from 10 am until 8 pm.
Entrance fee: 3€
