Travelling with Children to Mijas | Malaga

When you travel with children Mijas is a perfect holiday destination. Depending on the age, lots of activities, animations are organised at the Costa del Sol. You can even find playgrounds all over Mijas.

A family holiday, when you are travelling with kids, is one of the many possibilities in Mijas. Some hotels have family rooms but it is very nice to rent your own apartment of holiday house that has enough space for the children. In your holiday rental you have the possibility to cook a dinner or snack for them and have a fridge available to keep soft drinks cool. Most apartments have a community pool and some holiday houses even have their private pool.

Of course the beach is the place to be during the summer with the children. They can play in the sand or in the water. Some beaches are more adapted to others when travelling with children especially young ones. I can really recommend the beaches of La Cala and Calahonda. In the summer life guards also keep an eye on the coast.

Activities that are really appreciated by children are the aquapark in Mijas, the zoo or biopark in Fuengirola, or a banana ride on the sea that leaves from the beach. They will be exhausted in the evening!

The restaurants have a kids menu section and make sure they have a good choice of burgers, sandwiches, pizza and spaghetti. They have high chairs and are very happy to welcome your family. To travel with your children to Mijas is a great idea, a perfect family holiday destination.
