Only 80 km from Mijas Costa, a one hour drive and you reach Ronda. A bus to Ronda is available from Malaga. As this is such a beautiful city, lots of travel agencies offer day trips to Ronda.

Visiting Ronda means seeing the new bridge, build in the 18th century to connect the old part of Ronda to the new one. This bridge is 98 meters high. Another not to miss spot is the bullring of Ronda. This bullring has a long history and is important to the Spanish for its architecture, character and beauty. It holds a bull fighting museum inside.

Ronda has also its own wine and you can taste it in one of the many restaurants, wine or tapas bars. Or you can even go and visit one of the wine yards surrounding Ronda. The wine tasting school in the center of the city is opened as a museum where you can learn more about the taste and color of the wines.
